London Exchange Program

Slayton is co-director of “Collaborative Composition in London,” an ongoing international exchange program between the Royal Academy of Music in London and Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music. The program’s visionary founders, acclaimed composer Michael Alec Rose and juggernaut violinist Peter Sheppard Skaerved, served as its directors until 2016, at which time Slayton teamed up with wonderfully imaginative composers David Gorton (RAM) and Stan Link (Blair School of Music) to continue the program.
